Thermal Balance test for SoLEXS instrument

摘要

Aditya-L1 spacecraft is a solar observatory with seven instruments. Solar Low Energy X-ray Spectrometer (SoLEXS) is one among them intended to study the Soft X-ray [1]. Every module / sub-system of a spacecraft is associated with temperature specifications and the thermal control system is designed to meet those specifications. One important test for any space-borne instrument is the thermo-vacuum performance (TVP) test. During this test the performance evaluation of the thermal control system (TCS) of the instrument is also verified with respect to. a set of given boundary conditions − this verification test is called Thermal Balance Test (TBT).
This paper dwells on the test objectives, test configuration design/methodologies, post test data analysis, thermal mathematical model (TMM) development and its correlation with the test data.
