摘要

The single and multiple internal reflections phenomenon in a two dimensional geometry has been studied numerically with Radiative transfer equation(RTE) using ANSYS Fluent. The effect of mesh interval, type of mesh, angle of incidence has been noticed for the single and multiple reflection. A case has been presented for the multiple total internal reflections. It has been observed that accuracy of the solver for the collimated beam problem is highly dependent on the mesh size, type of angle of incident and beam width and the similar dependency has also been noticed for the multiple internal reflection.
