Abstract

The genesis of present research work is to develop exact analytical solution of temperature response based on bioheat models influenced by thermo-therapeutic applications. Till date most of the research work has been carried out constant initial condition (steady state) of the skin tissue. But unlike other engineering problem skin tissue is highly non-uniform and non-homogeneous in structure. Thus initial condition may not be imposed as constant in living cells. In order to develop thermal field we have opted for modified initial condition on the basis of practical thermo-biological aspects. For the first time we have implemented Green Function (GFs) method in the biological heat transfer to establish the analytical solution in conjunction with variable initial condition. Both Pennes' bioheat equation (PBHE) and Thermal wave model of bioheat equation (TWMBHE) have been employed with suitable boundary conditions. The thermal response and impact of other thermo-biological parameters have been investigated. The comparison of present research work based on analytical technique with the published experimental research work has shown well validation and accurateness of the present results.
