Abstract

An analysis is presented to investigate the effects of non- uniform heat source on MHD flow past a non-linear stretching sheet in the presence of suction or injection. The governing boundary layer equations are written into a dimensionless form by using suitable similarity transformations. The transformed coupled nonlinear ordinary differential equations are solved numerically by using quasilinearization technique in combination with the finite difference scheme. Favorable comparison with previously published work is performed. It is found that the dimensionless temperature increases with heat source parameter, and the dimensionless velocity increases with injection parameter while it decreases with suction.
