要約

Comprehending the dynamics of bubbles and the frequencies involved during inclined steam injection into water pools holds significant importance from a safety perspective in power plants, refrigeration plants, and oil refineries. This study focuses on investigating the behavior and characteristics of bubbles, frequency analysis of pressure, and bubble area fluctuation rate in an inclined orientation steam pipe with steam injection into a pool at different steam mass flow rates and pipe submergence depths. The experimental investigation reveals that bubbles formed at the outlet of the inclined pipe exhibit asymmetry relative to the vertical axis. Frequency analysis of pressure signals shows a significant peak frequency of 0.1-3 Hz at 15 cm from the pipe outlet and two distinct peak frequencies of 6-7 Hz and 16-17 Hz at 65 cm from the outlet. Additionally, the study reveals an increasing trend in fluctuation rate with higher steam mass flow rates.
