We present Lattice Boltzmann simulation of forced convection in a incompressible, plane wall jet flow over a surface with embedded heaters. The study is conducted by varying Reynolds number (Re) from 100 to 250. The objective of the study is to test the applicability of the Thermal Lattice Boltzmann model for investigating the heat transfer characteristics of the plane wall jet flow by comparing it with previous analytical and experimental results. The results show an increase in heat transfer rate with Re and self-similarity of thermal quantities which indicate the presence of a thermally developed flow.
