Electro hydrodynamics deals with the problems governed by electrostatics and hydrodynamics. The equations governing the unsteady, laminar, and incompressible flow are the continuity and the Navier-Stokes equations. The volume of fluid (VOF) method has been adopted for solving two-phase flows. In the VOF method, an additional phase transport equation has been solved. Along with the above equations, electro hydrodynamics is also governed by Maxwell's electromagnetic equations. Doing experiments is a cumbersome and cost-intensive process; that is why researchers focus on computational methods to solve the problem of interest. A well balanced and consistent algorithm based on charge conservative approach has been implemented to compute three-dimensional two fluid electrohydrodynamic flows.
