Resumo

Modernization in technology requires a crucial excess energy removal technique of a compact air heat exchanger. Passive techniques are utilized as a performance enhancer in a tube HX using various inserts mainly, Twisted turbulator inserts (TTI), Perforated turbulator inserts (PTTI), and dimple turbulators inserts (DTTI) to induce additional turbulence. Also, the Present paper focuses on energetic, Exergetic enviro-economic sustainable analysis of an air heat exchanger applied Tripartite hybrid nanofluid with water as a base fluid under various modified turbulators insert. The numerical investigation proceeded for nanofluid composed of six varieties including nanoparticle morphology with three different geometrical inserts in a plain tube heat exchanger. Investigation revealed hybrid nanofluid with twisted turbulators inserts in the core of the plain tube air heat exchanger significantly improved energy removal to the environment. Geometrical modification inserts, dimple inserts in plain tube compact heat exchanger results in the highest Exergetic efficiency, Performance evaluation criteria, sustainability index, and performance index although turbulator inserts also result in higher operating cost and equivalent CO2 discharge to the environment. Dimpled inserts with THyNF 3, Al2O3+TiO2+Graphene/ water is most likely to be preferred as working fluid as its PEC ranges highest 1.27 to 1.37, and THyNF 6, (Fe2O3+CNT+Graphene/water), and THyNF 2Al2O3+TiO2+CNT/ water) should be least preferred due to its high cost requirement and highest 10.4 kg CO2 discharge to the environment.
